Long Island Aquarium

Long Island Aquarium provides an interactive and exciting educational experience by capturing the visitors’ imaginations and emphasizing the importance of marine life and environmental preservation.

Do you need a safe place for your children to do their remote school work while you go to work?  Send your child to Long Island Aquarium’s new Fish Academy!

Long Island Aquarium provides a safe learning environment including large, quiet, rooms where children will be spaced at least 6 feet apart.  They have high-speed internet access and Aquarium educators that will provide support as children work independently.  When the school work ends, the fun begins as kids partake in Aquarium themed activities, games and projects!

Fish Academy is available Monday – Friday, from 9:30 am – 2:30.   You supply lunch, drinks and snacks, and a laptop.  Children must wear masks, have up-to-date immunizations, and be able to work independently.  Two, three and 5 day options.  Before care available  from 8:30 am, and after care available until 5:30pm.
